Who the heck are we?

 Trish Gower, the owner of Bored to Brilliant is just a plain-folk, down-to-earth wife, mom of four adult kids and grandma to five littles! This company was born out of a desire to strengthen the relationship between kids and parents, as well as between kids and their peers. When one of our daughters was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma at the age of fifteen, it really hit us hard just how fragile life is, and how important it is to make memories with our children. We kept our kids home more, but allowed them to have friends over for games, movies and devotions. Through that time we learned that many kids didn't really have a great relationship with their parents, and several of them became very close to us because they longed for the bond that was evident in our family. We love to help families grow stronger bonds through interaction and play. We place a strong focus on character values, especially love and kindness. We know that character builds strong family ties. We also know that love and kindness can change the world. <3
